On having my vehicle sorted at the McCarthy Toyota (based on negligence) I was offered a new vehicle. During the transaction period I was notified by the McCarthy employee that I will be reimbursed (R7290) directly from "Innovation Group" (e-mail acknowledgement & confirmation). An employee from the "Innovation Group" (Andrea Rodrigues) has confirmed I will be reimbursed 21days fro the date of call. 21days later I discovered that the money wasn't deposited/transferred into my account so I called in only to discover that I wont be refunded/reimbursed. Andrea Rodrigues wasn't around so my query was floated over to Shamiela George. I was told that my query will be investigated and responded accordingly on. To my delight they decided to pull a technical calculation leaving with a far lower figure (R402.20) then what was promised. I firmly believe that employee Andrea Rodrigues has committed on behalf of the "Innovation Group" to reimburse me, which should have followed through. If Andrea Rodigues wasn't sure, she should have escalated the matter to a more senior personnel who could have investigated and then respond. Further to my query Shamiela George has acknowledged negligence (e-mail)
