Refuses to Payout

Hi my brothers car got in December and now santam refuses to pay-out dew to a misunderstanding on the policy which was, on the policy its says it has a immobiliser installed when the assessor came to fetch the key he asked where's the immobiliser and I said there wasn't one not knowing it had a built in immobiliser. We had a meeting with santam and they acknowledge it was a misunderstanding. Then they asked us to get the serial number of the unit as they wanted to compare it to the remote. We couldn't get that as the installer and the supplier does not keep track of serial numbers. They then asked for a installation certificate of an alarm that was installed more than 10 years ago, spoke to the installer the best he can do is give me a avadavat and santam says its not good enough. I also spoke to the place where the alarm unit was bought and they said they cant issue me a certificate as they have to view the car which is never going to happen because the car got. So if someone could assist me please as of what to do know???
