Case number 227999618.
Applied for motor finance online. Got an email from Peter Cheadle to inform me that my application was approved. Emailed him back and asked him to explain to me how they got to offer me the 12.65% interest rate as I was expecting less... never missed a payment, never paid late etc. 2 days later, still waiting for a reply. Got another email from Prevani Govender again telling me my application was approved. Emailed him back and asked for an explanation on how the interest rate was calculated. He asked for my number and I provided him with 2 contact numbers (even though they have my contact number on the system). More than 24 hrs later, still waiting for him to call me or reply to my email.
Called the contact centre on 0861086155 spoke to a very rude lady. Asked her to get someone to call me and explain to me, she told me "there is nothing to explain. MFC sets the interest rate, we can't do anything about it".?! What about my rights? I need to know how you got to calculate that interest rate. Educate your staff please. Asked to speak to the manager, the lady told me "the manager is not in today".
I think I would rather not move to MFC, screwing over cu
