I bring the following too your attention, as many customers were adversely affected by the Nedbank, Credit Card machine being out of order, at Debonairs Pizza, in the Checkers Centre in Arrarat Road.
A few persons ordered items and on paying by credit card, first had a long wait, then told it was not connecting, after several attempts at trying to re-set, no connection was made.
This caused the persons to walk quite a distance to an ATM.
In my case I did not have my ordinary savings account card with me. I had to make use of my credit card to draw cash. What makes me bitter, due to Nedbank's POOR SERVICE I had to incur EXTRA COSTS, by drawing cash on my ABSA credit card.
To the credit of the Debonair staff, they conducted themselves in a very courteous and civil manner, please convey my thanks to them. But unfortunately I will no longer make use of any Debonair outlets. Welkom has many other Pizza outlets and I will support them. I will alert my family, friends of the above poor service.
As for Nedbank I have had no dealings with them, being an ABSA client. I will again tell family and friends to closely examine this banks services.
