I have joined E BUCKS and thought - great concept. I bought 2 x tickets to travel overseas, thinking, I will earn some nice E BUCKS here. I called and asked "If I book my tickets with your preferred airline, on line, will I still earn the ebucks. I was told yes. I said, cause I cant swipe my card it will be on line and I was told as long as it is with the preferred airlines for EBUCKS it will be fine.
Well, I called this morning to hear when my ebucks points will reflect and I was told "Eish it won't, cause you did not swipe your card! " Now I also bought my 2 x visa on line with a FNB PLATINUM card that IS linked to my EBUCKS. Hence after my telephone discussion I thought I will earn ebucks for 2 x international visa and 2 x international return flights. Well, that is rubbish.!!
I understand the concept of SWIPE AND EARN - BUT if you say I can buy on line PROVIDED I use your preferred airline, which I did - and ZERO E BUCKS. Same with the Visas.
So if you want to rush and get EBUCKS - think eeeagain - it is a ploy for them to rake you in to make money and get you to spend, and at the end there is always a catch -
