Bank refusing to reimburse

On the night of the 28th of March I went to use the FNB ATM in Phoenix plaza to withdraw caash - the ATM swollowed my card and the money went off my account - never got the amount withdrawed. I went to Capitec bank who is my banking bank and they just refused to investigate or re-imburse my money.
I'm left with a situastion where I had lost a R1000 and no one is taking responsibility to assist in getting it back. I have gone to the police station logged a case and still no response from the bank.

I want my money back into my account as the ATM issue with is not my responsibility to take.
