Incorrect deposit into my account

Last week Tuesday I received notification of R5973 that had been deposited into my banking account by Wesbank (whom I have car financing with). Knowing that I was not expecting any money from them I contacted them to find out what this was about. The money had erroneously been put into my account and I was thanked for my honesty and assured the error would be amended immediately. Now, a week later, the money is still sitting in my account and nothing has been done. I contacted them again yesterday and was told they are still investigating the problem, what is to investigate, reverse the payment and get it sorted out!
