First National Bank
Making a Sale and not following through

Michelle Foulston initially met with us when we wanted to move our business account and bond from Standard Bank to FNB. A massive sales pitch was given but it took us over a year to get our account up and running and when it was running we were being charged R 14 per transaction whereas we had been sold R8 per transaction - the buck was then passed and phone calls not answered or replied to. We were issued with petrol cards linked to our cheque account when from the start we advised that this was not acceptable for our business and we wanted petrol cards on a credit basis that we could control, check and pay monthly as we had with Standard Bank. We were then told that the ONLY option for our petrol cards would be to go the fleet card route which we have now got but we can't fill containers - also sold a product not suitable to our business needs. Michelle passed the buck time again and Deon de Jager and Bongani Zuma got in touch and told us not to deal with Michelle any more but we are STILL struggling to get our petrol cards sorted and now have been charged over R 800 for a corporate credit card. I will not recommend FNB to anyone. Our dealings have been a nightmare!
