Be warned if you are offered life insurance from AIG. They will take your money quite happily but just hope you never have to make a claim because you will only be able to contact them with great difficulty.
The one time I did manage to make contact via their 0800 number (It took me over an hour) I was dealing with a person in the Phillipines.
They don't answer e-mails and their 'phones remain un-answered. I still have no idea where I am with them after 2 Months.
