I called in to Outsurance to cancel my policy due to the increase in Premium. I was transferred to Donelle who works in the Cancellation Department. She enquired about my reasons for wanting to cancel and then went on to re - look at my profile.
At the end of my conversation, she managed to secure my premium, at a lower rate and reduce my excess costs. I was very pleased with this and decided to retain my policy with Outsurance.
This., to me, is an excellent example of what customer care is all about. She not only portrayed professionalism and her excellent people skills, but also reflects the brand and image of her Company. This was also out of her jurisdiction of her job function.
This is rare and should not go unnoticed.
