I took Game cellphone insurance cover with Finrite for my Blackberry last year. At the begining of this year I sold that phone and bought a new one, insurance was arranged with a new company. The day I bought the new handset, I sent a letter to Finrite to cancell policy with effect from 17/01/2013, and stated on the letter that they must acknowledge receipt of letter and confirm cancellation in writing but none was confirmed. On the 27/02/2013 a debit order went out of my account with their reference number. I sent another letter requesting them to cancell policy as requested and refund my monies but they didin't. on the 27/03/2013 same occured. I cant put a stop payment on my account because its gonna charge me a lot. To date they are still debiting my account.
Please help me South Africa. Is this okay?
Beware of Finrite, I've been reading posts about them here on Hello peter, they are'nt good. FSB/FAIS Registrar help us...
