Promo a - bending over backwards to fool you

I saw the infamous advertisement on tv regarding their R400 promo. The deal basically says that if Outsurance cant better your current insurance premium, they will pay you R400. Obviously intrigued by this, I responded.

I get a call from a consultant who was friendly enough. Long story short, their quote couldn't beat my current premium.

The consultant sends me an email with a link to claim the money and all the terms and conditions. Being the cautious person I am, I read everything in detail. I also get a sms with a one time pin (OTP).

So I click on the link and it takes me to the site where I need to enter my OTP and it allows me to enter the current premium I'm paying as well as upload my current insurance policy. It also allows me to enter my bank details, assuming this is how they will be paying me.

I proceed to enter my bank details, however whenever I'm not even half way through, an error message pops up and redirects me to their homepage where I can get a quote. After doing this numerous times to make sure this isnt a once off error, the OTP stops working and you cant access the site anymore.

They bend over backwards to help? I think they just bent me over.
