I wanted to buy a Bakkie Isuzu kb 250, 2007 model from SMC exclusive motors in Pta (0123359999/0820760438) @ a total price of R162000.00 The dealer helped me apply for finance with SBSA, however i was shocked that they are requiring a deposit of R72 000.00 amounting to more than 50%. i had offered to pay a deposit of R20 000.00. Am wondering whether the Bank is being discriminatory on my Nationality since am a Zimbabwean. I fail to understand the justification of such a huge deposit required.
i feel betrayed by the bank, on which i have been loyal to since i came to the country, which is close to 6yrs now and am wondering whether is it worthwhile to continue banking with people whom they cant really assist you. Maybe an explanation on how they arrived with such a deposit will help.
