Everyone needs to know the dishonesty and that Nedbank home owners insurance feeds their clients, and hopefully you won't get caught out like we have been. Our cistern on our toilet collapsed and subsequently damaged our wooden flooring. Nedbank now refuse to pay for the damaged flooring as they say it is not covered, despite me holding in my hand a booklet stating that cisterns are covered. We had another unfortunate incident where another toilet had a burst pipe also causing damage to the floors, this they will cover but not the broken cistern? Makes Zero sense! My family as well as extended family have been with Nedbank for years and I am now seriously considering moving to another bank. I pay you good money every month to protect my house against accidents such as a broken cistern, what I don't expect is to be conned out of paying because you feel cisterns are not covered, completely the opposite of what your brochure says! Sorry Nedabnk, this is unethical and very poor business!
