A Previous claim, when my ceiling collapsed in a room in my house, resulted is zero cover by Nedbank insurance, because the "engineer" they sent to inspect stood for 3 minutes in the front door, looked inside, asked me what I think has happened, and then disappeared. Nedbank insurance later decided to NOT cover me as "no cause" could be found by their expect. I could not move them in any direction and ended up footing the bill myself.
5 Weeks ago, I had a leaking pipe that damaged a build-in cupboard. After the appointed supplier did not get back to me in 2 weeks, I contacted Nedbank Insurance direct and was advised that I am UNDER INSURED! they never did any inspection of my property but decided on some evidence that I am under insured. They are happy of course to continue receiving my monthly payments.
Dear Nedbank Insurance, You gave me excellent service years ago but my last 2 experiences is beyond appalling. I can only deduct that you are under financial stress and are limiting your payouts to a bare minimum. I would really like to hear if any of your other customers are experiencing the same
