I just opened a new cheque account with Nedbank call centre and deposited and amount of R3150.00 on the23.03.2013 and to my surprise on the 26.03.2013 at 06.15 I got a message that said R1223.00 was debited from my account, according to NCR it should have been said to me and also i SHOULD HAVE AUTHORISE FOR ANY DEBIT FROM THE ACCOUNT.I never authorise for any debits as that is still a new account. I want all the debits done from cheque account reversed as soon as possible before I can take the matter to the Ombudsman. As a consumer I have every right to authorise for any debits.
