I handed in 2 home loan applications at SB Centurion, then cancelled one. SB cancelled wrong application and gave me loan on wrong property. (as only the erf number appears on the loan, not the address)
Master has granted me ownership/management of this house, July 2012, awaiting legal certificates. Certification recieved in Nov 2012, SB neglegted to instruct the attorneys to move forward with the case.
After I investigated the matter in Jan 2013 the instruction was given and the attorneys picked up the error in address, but SB takes no resposibility therefor and I must now re-apply for homeloan.
My family has been living in the house and now everyone is at a risk of loosing the property, as I have 10 days left to respond with the loan amount.
It's the first time I've concidered Standard Bank and will be the last.
