I purchased goods worth R479 online from a local company which uses Pay Pal; when the transaction went through, received sms that a transaction for R511 had gone through. I was told by the company concerned that they had invoiced me for R479 and that is what they received. Got the credit card statement end of the month - R511was reflected. Phoned Credit Crd division, was advised foreign currency was involved, no it wasn't I explained, yes it was I was told, no it wasn't I said. I filled in a dispute form, sent it off to them together with invoice from company, to no avail. Went to branch & explained- dispute form lost as son has just moved house and think it was discarded in error. Was told oh dear it is very difficult without the original dispute form; "It's not the R30" I explained, "it's the principle - WHERE has this R30 gone". No-one seems to be concerned..
