My mother of 93 has an ABSA account &because of the postal strike has not received her end Feb statement which, as any one knows, is important from a tax point of view. Called ABSA who said unless on telephone or internet banking they dont have the facility to send her a fax or email Took this 93 year old lady to Sandton to ATM & surprise... how unusUAl... only one ATM dispenses statements and that was broken. Absa'S WEBSITE HAS NOT REPLIED TO ME. tHEY SHOULD DELIVER A PERSON OF 93 WHO HAS BEEN A LIFE TIME CUSTOMER, THE STATEMENT OR HAVE THE COURTESY TO CALL ME.
