I am extremely upset with the manner in which unemployed people are handled at standard bank I have been told many different stories overtime, I have contacted the call center and when I try my utmost to rectify the situation I get rude consultants and the phone put down on me. I have tried to make an arrangement regarding my cheque account and got a call this morning from lawyers that my account has now been handed over after I made an arrangement to settle the outstanding amount at the end of this month. As of today I will no longer bank with standard bank and I will find another bank who actually does consider a person that cannot find a employment.
