My name is Ishmerelda Mabena,
I had a personal loan with Absa and I finished paying it off via a settlement on the 23/02/2012 but I just found out this week after applying for a home loan from another bank that Absa listed me on ITC as a bad payer stating that I still owe R13000 for the loan account. The thing is after settling the account I called them about 3 times asking for letter of confirmation that I had finished paying but I never received.
Now I tried calling their offices and they keep on sending me from pillar to post and I cant go to the branch because I am currently heavily pregnant and I cant be standing in long queues.
I need Absa to clear this up with the ITC because now its giving me a bad credit record.
