Why are you charging me such a high interest rate

I applied for a homeloan in November 2012 after months of backwards and forwards we are still not happy with our situation, all im asking for is for FNB to explain to me why they charging us 12.3% on our bond application. Prime is currently 8.5% SURELY they dont have to kill us with such a high rate we would even be happy if FNB offered us 10% and at 10% YOU still "overcharging" please could you relook at my application as the 12.3% is just too high
