Refusing to refund a committed from FNB ATM

The FNB ATM at the Inanda road China Mall had sucked my card in and even just after cancelling the card the amount of R 3000.00 was taken out of my account from a Nedbank ATM down the road in less than 3 minutes with a service charge of R30.50. It takes about 10 minutes to get to that Nedbank ATM In my report I had stated there was an unknown black male at the ATM before me whom might have tampered with the machine. Few days later a receive a call from the FNB branch say that the department call me negligent with my pin because that unknown black male had left his slip in the machine and had come to retrieve it.
I was told by FNB that I would not get my money back even after opening a case at the police department.
I feel this ATM at the Inanda Road China Mall should be removed due to terrible security and lack of proper investigation after an incident like this. I am truly dissapointed that after so many years of banking with FNB having a problem now.
