Computerhare sent me and my wife letters that we had to call a number to get registered because they cannot pay dividends anymore by check. This is due to " tjekbedrog". First problem is that my wife is not fluent in English and it took ages to get somebody that can speak Afrikaans! Now she need to send copies of her ID etc by post to Computershare. Is there a more unsecure way to do this! Then they said that she can courier it but at her cost! We were happy the way it used to be done but Computershare made a decision and immediately made it the clients problem! My wife was told categorically that if she do not do this she will not receive anymore payments. What a democratic Company!
I was asked my full names, id number, post box number and area code and on that information it was decided that i am who i said i am! Information that anybody can obtain. I mean, if Computershare had enough info to send me a check by post why do i know have to go through all this pain...
I think i will rather get rid of my shares that get involved with Compuershare again!!
