Old Mutual
You owe me R40 000, You avoid me, I want my money

On 16/01/2013 I submitted a cancellation of policy form as per the requirements outlined the old mutual website.

On 23/01/2013, 1 week after my original submission I was informed by Kegan Mangalie that my submission was missing a signature from the SAPS. I was out the country by then. Why did he wait a week?

On my return I had the forms signed and re-sent to Kegan on 20/02/2013.

Again 1 week later, on the 26/02/2013 I receive an email from Bain Baden informing me that he needed an ID copy. I had already sent an ID in the original submission?!?! I re-submitted the ID document on the same day.

1 week after that, On 04/03/2013 I requested feedback from Bain and was ignored flatly.

I laid a complaint on 05/03/2013 to the department [Email Removed] as per complaints procedure on Old Mutual website. I received an Automatic Response email promising me contact with 48hrs.

48hrs has passed and I have been ignored again.

I cannot even escalate the complaint to the Customer because no email address has been supplied.

It has been exactly 50 days since I made the cancellation; Where is my money? I want my money!
