On Tuesday 05/03/2013 I got a call from Jardine at Direct Axis asking me if I have applied for a loan from Direct Axis. I told her I haven't; she made me aware that an individual has applied for the loan using my ID number & name the employment details on the loan was for a company I worked for 5 years ago. I have both my ID's (maiden & married) with me I have never lost it. The loan was approved & paid out (CDL00859E). The individual applied for the loan either telephonically or online. This money was paid into a Capitec bank account (not mine) this was confirmed by Capitec by checking my ID number against the account held at their bank. I went to the police station to make an affidavit. I checked on Transunion the loan reflects on my ITC profile, I am an FNB EMPLOYEE & am so how hurt that our First Rand brand is getting tarnished because due diligence is not in place by this micro lending company hence so many of us innocent folk are being defrauded, this loan is reflecting on my banking profile. Direct Axis didnt take the time to perform due dillegence before I was defrauded, only after the money was gone. I want my name cleared ASAP & this loan totally removed from my profile
