Saving accout not appearing in the system

Hi, I am Phakama.

I am writing this complaint on behave of my aunt Nokuthula Nzuza, ID number 770627 0913 085. My aunt deposited money in a 10 year fixed account in 2011, she initially deposited R10 000 in Jan 2011 and in May she was phoned to make an additional deposit of R5000 to the same account, which she did. Since then she has not been receiving any statements from Metropolitan Life and in 2012 she started complaining about this and it was discovered that her account does not appear on the system. She battled to get good service and she asked me to phone Mr Zungu whom she was dealing with, I phoned him and suddenly the account was on the system, after that he was very angry with my aunt! My aunt continued not receive statements again last week to check her account and again it is not appearing on the system and this time she was told to go to Standard bank to get a bank statement which proves her funds were transferred to metropolitan!!! Here is what I want to know: Does the account exist or not, since there is NO POLICY NUMBER? She was told she will get her policy number on the first letter that should have been sent to her. No one knows the policy number!!
