I recently opened a business account with FNB. On rare occasions I get paid by cheque. Beep bank (Standard) clears my cheques instantly and have for many years. Calling in to enquire as to why FNB cannot offer me the same service - I have been on hold for over 10 minutes waiting for an answer. Hence time to fill in a hellopeter complaint. Come FNB - very expensive ad campaigns, very expensive investment is clever systems and you can't even offer me what the clunky old bleep bank has always done. Disappointing.
