On the 14/02/13 i withdrew R300 from Capitec ATM (Harrison Street JHB). I took the money and went to the shops, when i wanted to pay the R200 note had ink. I paid with the R100 note. I went back to the bank and when i got there they were closed because there was cash in transit vehicle. At Capitec when thre is cash in transit vehicle they close for 20min. I went back to work had my lunch and went back. When i got there they wanted my receipt which i threw away however i informed them that they can draw my bank statement and they will see that i withdrew from their atm. A call was made to Inter Bank reference number (7152737) conclusion was that they will not exchange the note as i left for more than 30min and i did not have the slip. While still at the bank i found the slip and explained that i did come back boz they were closed. Conclusion was even with the ATM slip, bank statement they will not exchange the note. I still have it with me. I even suggested that they can check the serial numbers but said no if Inter Bank says no it means no. Reality is What should i do with the note i want them to exchange it.
