Debiting a account without knowledge or authorisat

I used to have a Nedbank credit card years ago which I paid off after I was retrenched in 2000. I have never received any communication from Nedbank regarding anything which may still be outstanding. On Friday to my horror their were 2 payment of R 4 333.95 debited from my account, after contacting the divisions I was told that I had to go into the branch as they were debits. I went into the branch on Saturday morning and was told that they couldnt do anything as it was Nedbank card and they couldnt do a debit stop on a card.

I phoned this morning and was told it was legal. I have now tried numerous occasions this morning to try and get through to legal and have been unable to get hold of a person.

I have NEVER received any communication from NEDBANK regarding this, yet they can politely help themselves to the money that is in your bank account!!!

I suggest that this payment be reversed and the money put back into my account today before I go to the consumer councilr. NCR, media, etc etc etc etc.

How DARE you just take money off of a persons account without even contacting them.

Cant say you dont have my contact details either!
