I have home and building insurance with Virgin am young home owner and have noticed that my house is busy cracking. I lodged a claim, the accessor came to my home and took pictures. On Saterday 02/03/2013 Johan from Virgin insurance called and told me that they will not repair the cracks. He stated that it was a add onto the home and no reinforcemant was used in the foundation, now explain to me why are there cracks in the kitchen? that was not a add on? I bought my home without any cracks and with the ''add on'' I and have approved building plans. How does the assesor know that no reinforcement was installed in the foundation, without doing the adaquete tests etc. I feel that I was mislead by my insurance provider. What would happen if my house had to burn down or if the roof falls ontop of my family due to the house cracking? I feel that Virgin would find an excuse not to pay out. I will be shopping around for new quotes as I am unhappy that my claim was not approved. I have been a loyal client to the Virgin brand but trust me will be cancelling everything ''Virgin''.
