Status of my application for a homeloan

ON THE 20/02/2013 I APPLIED FOR HOMELOAN IN THE BRANCH, THEY SEND ME AN SMS STATING THAT THEY RECEIVE MY APPLICATION, WITH A REF NUMBER.ON THE 25/02/2013 I PHONED THEM TO CHECK THE STATUS OF MY APPLICATION, THEY SAID, THEY WAITING FOR MY CREDIT RECORD FROM NCR, I PHONED THEM AGAIN ON THE 28/02/2013 THEY TOLD ME THE SAME STORY, THEY WAITING FOR MY CREDIT RECORD THEY WILL PHONE ME AS SOON THEY GET MY RECORDS BUT I DONT UNDERSTAND THAT IT CAN TAKE MORE THAN A WEEK JUST TO CHECK A PERSON CREDIT RECORD WHILE OTHER COMPANIES TOOK THEM 48HRS.TILL NOW THEY HAVEN'T PHONE ME.I'M DISSAPPOINTED WITH STANDARD BANK, POOR SERVICE .I JUST NEED TO KNOW MY STATUS OF MY APPLICATION AND IF THE BOND HAS BEEN APPROVED OR NOT
