I have cancelled and close my Standard Bank Credit Card. In December I receive a sms that my credit card is overdue. I phoned and was on the line for 30 min. Were by I was told to go to the nearest branch. I went to the Port Alfred branch. There I was told to phone card division. Again after 2 hours I was transferred from Card division to to legal. There I have request statement, which I have not received to date. There is an outstanding balance of R732 but nobody can provide me with statements as to where this amount originated from. After that I have called numerous times to no avail. How can I pay if I closed the card and the balance was zero?
