I logged a claim with Discovery Insure for a pool pump which burnt out. After providing them with the documentation which they specified I received an email indicating that "there is no insured peril on this damage report and therefore I will have to close your claim."
My requests for an explanation on what their definition of an "insured peril" is is being ignored, even after sending a reminder email to Bianca Phillips and the general call centre email address. I am being penalised for my pool service providers choice of wording on the damage report.
I find this very unprofessional. Are you guys serious about being an insurance company?
