I took in my ford figo 1.4 ambiente to Zambezi auto on 11 February at 8:30am and to DATE i have not received it back! The panel beaters are replacing things i did not have issues with. I do not have another car to drive as my courtesy car was for 10 days. I have been calling every Tuesday to do a follow up on the progress of the car. Last week i was told by the panel beaters that i will receive my car back on 28 February 2013 or 1 March. Today when i call again, i am told it is in the paint shop and i will get it back on the 7th of March! I could not fathom what is taking SO LONG and i was given a break down of what was replaced, and the door was replaced! FOR WHAT!!! there was no dent on the door! Why should it be replaced!??? They are doing a COMPLETE OVERHAUL of the car while i am stuck without a car! It is difficult to get around without a car and this is prolonging things. Fixing things that do not need fixing! I would like an explanation as to what exactly is wrong with the door that was replaced??? I could open and close it with the greatest of ease. what needed attention was the part between the boot and the left rear door! I am totally exasperated with the service.
