I have banked with Nedbank all my life and with that obtained my home loan and accompanying property insurance. I have never claimed with Nedbank and the one time I choose to do so turns out to be an utter nightmare! Durning the heavy storms we experienced in KZN my roof started to leak and walls to dampen. After logging a claim with Nedbank last year December I have had three assessors come to my property. I have called this company numerous times, and with every call I am given a run around. I spoke to Zwelakhe from Nedgroup today who tells me that I need to waterproof my entire roof and change to bigger gutters in my house and then only will they come in to do repair. I ask you, if I am to be doing these repairs what are you to do? My property was damaged due to heavy storms! all I ask is that you help me to sort this out ASAP as the last time I checked I am still covered for damage due to storms.
