How can a simple query take this long?

I went into standard bank Sandton branch and asked that my credit card limit for transfers be increased. The friendly lady asked for my ID then a few minutes later said that it was done. I have since tried to make a transfer, but there was no limit loaded. I am currently abroad for work purposes and have called the call centre which is always too busy so i finish all my airtime. I have been dealing with Naeema Hendriks for over 2 months trying to sort this out but she waits weeks before responding. this has now become urgent but it seems like standard bank just doesnt care.
