I called into the miway call centre last year to cancel my policy. i was not informed that a fee of 80 rand would be debited from my account every month after I cancelled my account.
When i discovered this a year later by looking at my bank statement, I called the call centre. The consultant dismissed my query and said that the recording would have to be listened to. She then proceeded to try to force me to get a policy.
I asked her to contact me when the recording was obtained. She agreed. I have not heard anything for 3 months.
Beware of miways unscrupulous billing and sales tactics.
