Shocking service and total disappointment

My husband and I applied more than 3 weeks ago for a personal loan. I was told by Morne that he didn;t need my husbands details as I qualified for a loan with repayments every month to the value of R2380. Excellent very pleased as we want to consolidate our debt as ABSA has offers available. I at the moment pay back over R7000 a month without fail to credit cards etc as our debt spiralled out of control as my husband was unemployed for 2 years. I approached ABSA to help out with a loan so that I could breathe a bit easier every month as I still have a child in school and theres always expenses for something, or the fridge or car breaks down (Like now) and I have no available money as it all goes to playing catchup with the last 2 years debt. After calling several times am told the credit dept is behind. Yesterday he calls back sorry can't help me! I pay R7000 a month on debt I want to consolidate and pay the R2380 I can't see the problem. He was going to look into it again and come back to me yesterday afternoon. I am still waiting. The bank offers this service - when you apply this is the response. I am totally disappointed I need help and the one place that offers it cant!!
