I owe ABSA about R15000.00 credit card. I couldn't make payments to them because I got sick and I got a three months unpaid salary. That caused me to be deep in debt. I opted for debt review in March 2013. On the 15 May 2013 ABSA deducted a whapping R7000.00 from my savings account into the credit card account. They indicated to me that the credit card acc. was excluded from debt review as I was under the impression that it was included, my debt counsilors didnt't inform me about that. I requested ABSA to at least give me back R3500.00 so that I can have something to live on this month and then make arrangements to pay the rest, they refused to pay me back. I feel violated by my bank because I'm going to have to make another debt just to survive and the only place that can assist me is the loan / compound loan that charge 50% interest per month. I also feel that I cannot trust my assets with absa if they are able to enter my savings account and do as they please without having a decency to inform me first.
