On 2012 i went to debtreview due to my financial problem which my Absa vehicle finance was included. however Debt counsellor were not paying AbSA (still waiting proof of payment) as per agreement. on the 14th of February i received a note from Elisha Mahume on behalf of ABSA staing my debt counseling is cancelled and my account is behind, i must make amount of R14000 double my salary on the 28th Feb. On the 15th i contacted the debt counselling to verify it, which they didnt give me a concrete answer but still claiming they have been paying ABSA. i decided to call ABSA to make arrangement, I was reffered to Elisha Mahume on these numbers 011 221 7041 and 082 418 7291. called the cell number, to speak to him for further arrangement. he told me i rather sell my car to payback ABSA as i failed before thats why i ran to Debt review or he will come and fetch the car if i do not pay the money. raising his voice, I literally begged him to make dble payment as the amount was double my salary. but still insisting i must sell my car. please advise what are your process when you have outside collectors, do you hire ppl to suggest selling our assets or to recover the money the money if posibl?
