I think that the 5 to 15 day turnaround time for a withdrawal from an investment is ridicules.
I have an investment with Old Mutual. I put money in each month in case I need it as an emergency. I have and emergency now and I have been told that I need to wait 5 to 15 days to have the money? I started the process on Tuesday already hoping to get my money by today, Friday. How is that going to help me? If they have a large amount of clams to process that is not my problem. I pay them to keep my money and offer me a service. What really tick me off is that it's MY money. I need it; I shouldn't have to wait 5 days for it. I may as well keep it under my bed, at least that way I know that the service will be instant.
