Funeral Policy

I took African Life policy in Dec. 2006 which was later administered by Sanlam Sky. I had had no feedback whatsoever since the takeover and when I inquired last Dec. 2012, I found out the policy was unpaid for 2 consecutive months in 2007 and 3 consecutive months in 2008. I was surprised as to why the policy didn't lapsed as per Sanlam contract layout. I didn't get answers from Vryheid and Witbank Sanlam as they claim that they cannot assist with Sanlam Sky policies. I then went to Johannesburg Marble Towers on the 4th of February and I spent more than an hour but I cannot remember what we discussed as the consultant could not answer why the policy did not lapse when it was unpaid for 3 consecutive months. The only thing I recall is that consultant said she was going to ask premium payment audit report from the head offices on the 4th Feb. 2013. She said the head offices was going to call me on the issue on the 6th Feb. latest. The policy, as it stands, still deducts money from my bank account up to now although I have a feeling that that the is null as per the aforementioned reason. As it stands I don't know what to do as Sanlam Sky offices are very few in the country.
