Call centre agents from Nationwide Recovery Services are the rudest people I have ever dealt with on the phone. They are only debt collectors and have no right to shout at, discriminate against or swear at the people they call to try and recover funds. I have begun a voluntary sequestration process and have been told that it is illegal for me to give any one creditor preference over another from the moment I agreed to go ahead with the sequestration. I have told this to the Nationwide staff MANY times, but they keep on insisting that I pay. They shout and interrupt me and tell me to be quiet and listen, like I am a child. My lawyers have advised me not to take their calls, or disconnect if they phone again, as I have rights (National Credit ACT) and do not have to suffer this ABUSE.
