I was sequestrated in 2007. As part of the sequestration, my 2 loans with African Bank was included. At no stage did African Bank claim against the sequestration. I was rehabilitated in 2012. I am in the process of buyin a house and cannot obtain a bond as African Bank re-activated the loans covered by the sequestration and listed me on all the credit bureaus as well as on the interbank bureau. This is against the law as debt covered by sequestration is written off. I need the credit listings to be removed from all credit houses and banking houses immediately in order to obtain my bond. I have a limited time to get the bond so this matter is extremely urgent.
