I never previously felt the need to register to use this facility!
Submit a short term insurance claim and wait almost a week just to receive a sms with a claims reference number. Then wait, and wait, and wait. Attempt to call, hold on long enough just to be cut off. E-mail, get the delivery note, then wait, and wait, and wait.
We pay for insurance (yes, it is not provided as a favour) for peace of mind to obtain cover for unexpected losses, specifically those impac ting most on our daily lives.
Come on FNB Insurance Brokers - tell your customers and prospective customers whether 12 days waiting for a claims decision after claim submission is reasonable and why; reconsider the meaning of the term "insurance" and why the concept exists; also tell your staff that they are not doing policy holder favours by responding to their queries - policy holders created their jobs.
If only others benefit from this, I'll have at least achieved something...
