Up to now I believed Discovery Insure to be different, but alas- they are yet another insurance company with empty promises. A company where you are just a number. A paying number. $$ Where everything goes well... Until you claim. I submitted a claim a week ago. Firstly, they were initially reluctant to even process the claim (according to me, unreasonably so as my MacBook - which is now 'uneconomical to repair' after water damage, is covered under my household cover). Up to now I received NO further feedback after the initial 'this is your claim reference nr'-sms. Trying to follow up I am either unable to get through or cut off or put on hold forever (as I type this I'm entering my 24th minute!) As a loyal Discovery customer - with numerous discovery products- I am disgusted and disappointed with the customer service I received (or lack thereof).
