I bought a car in May 2012 and had to have it insured. I had it insured with First for Women and had it inspected within 24hours and faxed through the certificate to FfW. I wanted to check if there was cheaper Insurance available and a family member suggested I try Outsurance. She uses them and they are reasonably affordable and very good. Before I could contact them, they actually called me and ran through the whole question gamut with me. I confirmed that I was with FfW but that the bill was quite steep. I asked for a quote and found that it was only about R40 cheaper. I decided to stick with FfW. Unfortunately Outsaurance started billing from Aug 2012 even though they never received inspection certificate which I never sent.
Every month I am billed - I can't get hold of the right representative to stop the billing and now have 2 insurance bills for one car each month. Outsurance assured me that they wouldn't bill me if they didn't receive the inspection certificate.
I want Outsurance to stop billing me for insurance on a vehicle they have no certificate to verify its existence
