On the 11th of December 2013 I went to Standard Bank Protea Garden's branch to withdraw R1000 and deposit R500 to DUT. The assisting teller deposited two R500 to DUT, after explaining to her that we only wanted the one R500 to be deposited and the other given to us. She then called her manager who said they rectify the mistake.
Unfortunately I lost the deposit slip copy and i needed to request a refund from DUT for that amount. I returned to Protea Gardens to request for the deposit slip copy, was told to wait 4 working days. I went back today and was told that they weren't able to find my deposit copy. My problem with this is that lenasia was able to find a copy of my deposit slip paid on a different day with the same credentials.
I'm very disappointed by this service from Standard bank, i now have to wait another 4 working days because of incompetence
