To whom it may concern
I settled an account. I phoned, they confirmed what I need to pay and I settled it that very moment - even took the liberty of forwarding the proof of payment. I have requested my paid up letter (confirmation that the account is closed) however - after numerous emails and phoning, I was actually told in the same words (I don't know why it's taking so long and that they cannot confirm if the account is closed).
I would like to remind FNB that should any interest be noted on the account after I requested a closing balance via the call centre (all calls are recorded, right) I will NOT PAY!!
Why is it taking so long to get my confirmation letter however - (Just miss one payment... and the whole darn FNB phones you to!)
